And this!

Gigagig in action!

Ok, so the illustrious assignment number 2 is actually something Beau and I talked about when we first started discussing Gigagig in its early stages of drinking beer and throwing out ideas and randomly punching the keys to house beats on beaus keyboard for Logic.

Make a poster with a political agenda.
It can be any current issue, support for any current politician, etc. etc.
Any size, any shape, what ever you want.

But it has to be done in propaganda style. And it has to emulate something that's been done.
You can put your spin on it, in anyway you want, but try and redesign something.

Some examples here,

This is kind of the idea, but we can do it better.

Corporations have to redesign themselves all the time and most of the time within the silly restraints and requests of the client. It'll be cool to see what we can turnout.

Mez, beau had this great book on war posters, which I then bought on Amazon, it's awesome! I'll show it to you.

Let's be realistic and put a month deadline on this one.
Since we are all very busy.

Today is July 1, so have it done August 1.

Happy gigagiging!

Finalish

I had some problems transferring between photoshop and illustrator. I drew it, scanned it and then tweaked it in photoshop, where it looked great. But in illustrator and in design, the lines didn't look so hot. I tried to flatten it, rasterize it and export paths to illustrator. I know I learned how to translate something to a vector based program before, but for the life of me I couldn't remember.
So what do you guys think? Too rough? I kinda like where its going.

Are you sure swamps aren't sludgy? What if it was really dirty?

First idea, split up down the middle posters. My swamp would be totally sludgy ok.
Kind of a refined idea off of the first one, colors would be messy but more strategically placed
