Gigagig in action!
Make a poster with a political agenda.
It can be any current issue, support for any current politician, etc. etc.
Any size, any shape, what ever you want.
But it has to be done in propaganda style. And it has to emulate something that's been done.
You can put your spin on it, in anyway you want, but try and redesign something.
Some examples here,

This is kind of the idea, but we can do it better.

Corporations have to redesign themselves all the time and most of the time within the silly restraints and requests of the client. It'll be cool to see what we can turnout.
Mez, beau had this great book on war posters, which I then bought on Amazon, it's awesome! I'll show it to you.
Let's be realistic and put a month deadline on this one.
Since we are all very busy.
Today is July 1, so have it done August 1.
Happy gigagiging!

Finalish
I had some problems transferring between photoshop and illustrator. I drew it, scanned it and then tweaked it in photoshop, where it looked great. But in illustrator and in design, the lines didn't look so hot. I tried to flatten it, rasterize it and export paths to illustrator. I know I learned how to translate something to a vector based program before, but for the life of me I couldn't remember. So what do you guys think? Too rough? I kinda like where its going.

Welcome to gigagig!
The future home of gig posters and design projects completed by us. We will frequently be giving each other assignments for real and imaginary gigs and events. All projects will be uploaded here and we will critique each other via comments. We are gigagig.
